Love music? Then you should add the Miami Music Festival to your to do list during this summer in South Beach. The Miami Music Festival is annual even entering its third season. The festival began at the end of June and will continue throughout the month of July.
The mission of the Miami Music Festival is to “provide affordable, world-class musical instruction and ground-breaking performance experiences to young artists and the South Florida region.” Since its induction, the festival has been enjoyed by many and the feedback has been wonderful. The festival has been a place where young artists can prepare for the music industry; it also adds something to the culture of the area.
The festival has different institutes in Orchestra, Opera, Piano, Composition, and Conducting, which allow young artists to take the stage and perform in dynamic, career-changing ways. The founder and artistic director, Michael Rossi, created the festival during Florida’s slow season to provide the area with classical music. He believed that since Miami has a strong musical center throughout the rest of the year that this festival just would expand on the city’s cultural landscape.
Each institute gives performers, conductors, and musicians a chance to hone in on our their interests and skillset on a professional level by giving them real experience.
