This casual French bistro is run by a Parisian and offers coffee, crepes, and light fare. It’s officially fall in South Beach. The sun is shining and the humidity is finally starting to calm down – it’s beautiful out here! October is a great month to head down and explore this area. With students and children back in school, the area isn’t as crowded as during the springtime; however, there is still many activities, events, and attractions to explore and experience.  If you’re thinking about planning a getaway, check out South Beach in October. Italian Film Festival | Oct. 6 – 11
Regal Cinema South Beach, 1120 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach
Cinema Italy has presented the Italian Film Festival for the past several years to promote Italian cinema and culture outside of Italy. Individual tickets cost $12 to attend films. Miami Attractions Month | Oct. 1 to 31
In the month of October, people get to experience different Miami attractions with the offer of buy one admission get one admission free, along with other discounts. There is no membership or sign up required to reap the benefits of this month. South Beach Seafood Festival | Oct. 22
Lummus Park, 7th Street and Ocean Drive, Miami Beach
The 4th annual South Beach Seafood Festival will feature Joe’s Stone Crabs, Naked Tacos, Red, the Steakhouse, CJs Crab Shack, Drunken Dragon, A Fish Called Avalon, Naiyara, Poseidon, Toro Toro, Trulucks, and more. Tickets range from $35 to $150. The event will be held from noon to 7 p.m. All tickets include open bar. There will be live music, a food demo area, games, and more.
